Chic Journey to the French Riviera with Veronica Gautschi

VERONICA GAUTSCHI takes us back in time with her Riviera Spring-Summer 2023 collection, channeling the timeless, effortlessly chic style of Brigitte Bardot in the 60s and 70s.

Imagine a day in the life of a young woman with bold style, lounging under the warm sun of the Côte d’Azur. The stunning blue sea, breathtaking landscapes, and feeling of freedom all embrace a sophisticated yet sexy elegance.

With wind-swept hair and a hint of 50s flair, our muse embodies B.B for eternity. We examine the elements that make her style iconic, and which pieces can transform you into a French Riviera fashion icon.

A hairband adds volume and a touch of chic sexiness, while a desire to be unique and simple makes bare feet the ultimate accessory.

The geometric patterns in the collection add a hint of retro charm to the looks, which are both glamorous and carefree, mixing masculine and feminine elements that continue to appeal to modern women while adding that je ne sais quoi to their outfits.

This summer, our heroine opts for timeless jewelry and the key to making a statement is layering. Oversized heart-shaped earrings come in silver and gold-plated brass with semi-precious stones. Mesh chains in a variety of shapes and sizes, from rectangular to rounded, are also plentiful.

What’s more, a plethora of charms allow for endless customization of jewelry. The transformable nature of the glasses chains that can double as necklaces, chokers, and even lariat-style pieces adds a playful touch.

VERONICA GAUTSCHI‘s passion and creative DNA led her to found her eponymous brand in 2010. Born to a Swiss-Italian family, she settled in the Côte d’Azur, which she had visited frequently since childhood. Her fascination with French culture, specifically the history of the French Riviera and its iconic figures, inspires and fascinates us. Her love of art deco is evident in her collection of jewelry, while her collection of high-end leather goods is inspired by modern and minimalist lines.
